About Highway Dodge
Highway Dodge is a free endless driving game. You steer a car on a three-lane highway while oncoming traffic comes down at you. Move left and right between the lanes to avoid every car and pick up gold coins for extra points. There is no finish line: the road simply gets faster the longer you survive.
One crash ends the run, so the game is all about reading the traffic a few rows ahead and choosing the safe lane early.
How scoring works
- Your score grows continuously with your speed, so a longer and faster run is worth more.
- Each gold coin you drive through adds 20 bonus points.
- Speed increases a little every moment you stay alive, so later rows arrive faster and closer together.
Tips to improve
- Look at the next two rows, not just the closest car. Commit to a lane before the row arrives.
- Coins are worth a lot compared with driving, but never change lanes late just to grab one.
- The middle lane gives you two escape directions. The outer lanes only give you one.
- On a phone you can drag to switch lanes, which is faster than tapping repeatedly.
Frequently asked questions
What are the controls?
Use the left and right arrow keys or A and D to switch lanes. On a touch screen, drag left or right.
Can I get hit and continue?
No. One hit ends the run, which is why your best score is the number to beat.
Is the traffic random?
Cars are placed randomly, with a safeguard against layouts that cannot be dodged at all.
