Sky Shooter is a free retro-style vertical shooter in the tradition of classic 1940s-themed arcade games. Choose one of four planes, fly through the sky, shoot down enemy planes, collect power-ups and defeat a boss at the end of every stage. There are no downloads and no accounts, and it works with a keyboard or with touch.
Each stage gets harder, with faster enemies, more shooters and tougher bosses, and each stage has its own sky: dawn, sunset, night sea, deep space and an inferno. Between stages you can spend the coins you collected in an upgrade shop.
Move with the arrow keys or WASD, or drag on a touch screen. The plane fires automatically. Space or X uses the special, and Shift or C rolls.
R doubles your fire rate, P doubles bullet damage, M fires three bullets, and W adds a wingman (up to two). R, P and M last seven seconds.
Enemies and bosses drop coins. After every boss the shop opens, where you can buy fire rate, damage, special charge and an extra life for the current run.
